More than a billion dollars in spending will be up for a vote on Tuesday, May 21, as voters determine the fate of more than a dozen school district budgets and candidates vying for Board of Education seats.
Budget proposals range from $17,186,749 in Livingston Manor to a whopping $282,444,842 in Newburgh. There are also 109 Board of Education candidates vying for just 84 seats countywide.
